Pixie has been involved with the world of art for more than fifty years, as a student, teacher, collector, patron, juror, architect and artist.

Married to Sir Neil Shaw, she was based in London. Their extensive journeys connected her with many environments, cultures and activities. The distilling of so many experiences has led to the elemental purity and simplicity in her creative forms and images. Indeed no mean achievement.
